The Recovery Slow Down

Hey crew!

If you’ve been following our recent updates, you know that our girl Peaches had to undergo a major surgery. It’s been a stressful time at the Dog House, but we have some great news: everything went well! She is officially on the fast track to health, though she’s still figuring out how to handle the cone.

To be honest, this year so far has been a bit of a whirlwind. With the emotional toll of the surgery and the reality of some pretty expensive vet bills, we’ve been working overtime to keep the ship steady.

But there’s a silver lining to being stuck on shore during her recovery. When you’re forced to slow down you start looking at the horizon differently. During these quiet weeks caring for Peaches, we had something like an epiphany. We realized that the values we’ve always lived by on the water: simplicity, sustainability, and independence, might now be calling us toward a new kind of adventure.

We’re not ready to spill all the details just yet, but let’s just say we’re charting a course for a new horizon that we think you’re going to love.
